Judges:
Beth Myers
The 9th annual LFA Championship Show
and Sale will be the weekend
of September 17, 2010 at the Iowa
Equestrian Center in Cedar Rapids.
We
welcome every breeder to attend. It
highlights the finest llamas in
North
America and a great time together
with friends for a fun filled
weekend.
The event starts Thursday evening,
September 16th, with Keith and Patti
Wattigneys shrimp
boil. Great Southern hospitality!
Friday is the Fall Harvest Show --
an ILR-SD sanctioned show - along
with the ALSA Great
Lakes Regional Show. That night is
heavy hor doeuvres hosted by the
LFA.
Saturday morning starts with
introduction of animals on the red
carpet. A hands-on preview will
follow. Darrell Anderson will then
take his place on the auction block
with Mike Gerken providing
the commentary about each animal.
The auction starts with breedings to
some of the top herdsires in
the country. Take this opportunity
to add some new bloodlines to your
herd. The auction continues
with the selling of 36 premier
llamas consigned by breeders from
across North America. We thank
the consigners for offering some of
their very best and we encourage you
to take the opportunity for
a new addition.
The 9th annual LFA World Futurity
Championship Show kicks off Sunday
morning. This event
will again boast the top payouts in
the country. This is a great
opportunity for earning a years
worth
of bragging rights and some cash in
your pocket.
We would like to thank our sponsors
for their generosity and support,
without their commitment
this weekend would not be possible.
We would also like to thank the
countless volunteers that help
make this event possible. It is
definitely a group effort to put on
an event of this magnitude and the
entire industry benefits from those
committed to making this event a
success year after year.
With all that said, we hope to see
you in Cedar Rapids to compete in
this years event. The LFA
continues to promote the future of
the llama industry and with your
support, we can all have a fun
future together!
