for the ILR-SD COMMITTEE

of your choice or to nominate someone to run!

 

REMINDER: October 30, 2010, deadline
to volunteer or nominate members for the ILR-SD committees.

Would you like to run for an ILR-Show Division (ILR-SD) Committee
or know of someone you would like to nominate to run?

·    On January 1, 2011, ONE POSITION for each of EIGHT COMMITTEES will be available by way of election for 5-year terms.

·    COMMITTEES to RUN for:
 4 FINANCE
 4 FLEECE
 4 HALTER
 4 JUDGES
 4 MARKETING
 4 PERFORMANCE
 4 RULES
 4 YOUTH

·   ELECTION PARAMETERS and PROCEDURES
 ü    A person is allowed to serve on only ONE committee at a time.
 ü    A person can only run for ONE committee per election.
 ü    A person can VOLUNTEER or be NOMINATED to run.
 ü    Volunteers and Nominees must be ILR-SD MEMBERS.
 ü    If nominated by someone else, the person will be contacted to confirm that they will run.
 ü    CURRENTcommittee MEMBERS whose terms are expiring CAN RUN AGAIN.
 ü    Send NAME, RANCH/FARM NAME, ADDRESS, E-MAIL address and the selected COMMITTEE to:  [email protected]

·   PROPOSED ELECTION TIMELINE
 w    Nominations: by self or someone else, received until October 30, 2010
 w    Electronic ballots sent out: November 2010
 w    Ballots counted: early December
 w    New committee members announced: early December
 w    New Committee Members begin terms: January 1, 2011.
