GOVERNING BOARD e-mail vote
November 29, 2013

On November 29, 2013, Debbie Arendas, on behalf of the Guidelines Committee, submitted via e-mail the following for consideration by the ILR-SD Governing Board:

ITEM 1:

Proposal for Guidelines Change to be added to page 9 - ILR SD Membership Requirements and also to page 19 - Show Management:

1.Dual Sanctioned Shows - ILR-SD Sanctioned Shows held in conjunction with another show association sanctioned show.

"Show management may not require ILR-SD exhibitors to join any other Lama show association (ie. ALSA or LFA) to be able to exhibit in an ILR-SD Sanctioned Show."

ITEM 2:

Response to email voting to be added (in red) to page 1 as item e:

B. GOVERNANCE

 e) The Governing Board will work toward consensus but if consensus cannot be reached, a recommendation must have at least eight (8) positive votes to be ratified. E-Mail voting can not be requested in less than 48 hours and must not exceed 7 days time. In cases where the entire GB does not respond, a non-response is considered an affirmative vote for the motion.

ITEM 3:

Robert's Rules of Order to be added as item j to page 1 Governance:

The Governing Board and all Committees will follow Robert's Rules of Order as the parliamentary authority.

 

The motion was approved by the required majority of members.
