for the ILR-SD COMMITTEE

Would you like to run for an ILR-Show Division (ILR-SD) Committee
or know of someone you would like to nominate to run?

DEADLINE: November 21, 2011
to volunteer or nominate members for the ILR-SD committees.

volunteering your time and sharing your efforts in your show division!

·    On January 1, 2012, ONE POSITION for each of EIGHT COMMITTEES will be available by way of election for 5-year terms. The Election will take place in December 2011.

·    COMMITTEES to RUN for:
 → FINANCE
 → FLEECE
 → HALTER
 → JUDGES
 → MARKETING
 → PERFORMANCE
 → RULES
 → YOUTH
 

·   ELECTION PARAMETERS and PROCEDURES
 ✔    A person is allowed to serve on only ONE committee at a time.
 ✔    A person can only run for ONE committee per election.
 ✔    A person can VOLUNTEER or be NOMINATED to run.
 ✔    Volunteers and Nominees must be ILR-SD MEMBERS.
 ✔    If nominated by someone else, the person will be contacted to confirm that they will run.
 ✔    CURRENTcommittee MEMBERS whose terms are expiring CAN RUN AGAIN this year.
 ✔    Send NAME, RANCH/FARM NAME, ADDRESS, E-MAIL address and the selected COMMITTEE to:

·   PROPOSED ELECTION TIMELINE
 »    Nominations: by self or someone else, received until November 21, 2011
 »    Electronic ballots sent out: early December 2011
 »    Ballots counted: mid-December
 »    New committee members announced: in December after ballots are counted
 »    New Committee Members begin terms: January 1, 2012
