It's time to renew or sign up for your ILR and ILR Show Division (ILR-SD) memberships for 2013. We're asking that as many of you as possible GO GREEN and purchase your memberships HERE! The membership opportunities are outlined below. You can also check out the FAQs further down if you have questions. Feel free to contact the office if your questions are not answered here.

2013 Membership Info

We have revised our membership categories to give you more options to select the membership category that best fits your needs rather than a one-size-fits-all membership. All memberships already purchased for 2013 and beyond will be upgraded to Breeders/Promotion memberships at no additional charge.

We also hope to encourage greater utilization of the advertising and data research opportunities on your ILR website. Researching the ILR database has untold ramifications as to your knowledge when purchasing animals and making breeding decisions. You can ‘see’ who the sires and dams are as far back as they are registered or listed in the ILR database. Once you get into the habit of checking the database for information, you’ll be very glad you did.

Your membership dollars get you the benefits listed below but also go to support your organization for all of the ways they can represent you in furthering the lama breeds plus providing you with more opportunities to enjoy, promote and manage your lama business—for example: one-stop shopping for lama ads, ILR ShowManager use, Show Division participation, the Incentive Fund participation and the Show Division / Universal Awards Programs involvement.

ASSOCIATE - $25 (no animals registered with the ILR)

Q1:  Have I already renewed my membership?

A:  You can check it out in your account on the ILR website. It's easy as 1-2-3.

   1) Log in to your account on the ILR site - www.lamaregistry.com

   2) Click on Common Quick Links tab

   3) Click on View Membership Status

Q2:  Are the ILR and ILR-SD memberships two separate memberships?

A:  Yes, they are - except for Youth. See #5 below.

Q3:  Do I need to be a member of the ILR to have an ILR-SD membership?

A:  No, you do not need to be a member of the ILR to have an ILR-SD membership but you receive a $15 discount on your ILR-SD membership if you are an ILR member.

Q4:  What's the difference between the two memberships?

A: The ILR membership.

• First of all is support for something you believe in, the ILR. Your dollars allow us to promote the breed and to give added value to your animals.

• Discounts on services.

• Plus you put yourself in a position to receive certificates and trophies for your showing efforts and all other activities.

• The opportunity to run for the ILR Board of Directors is available.

• And additional benefits as listed above.

Note: You must be a member of the ILR at the time of the activity for points to count in the ILR Universal Awards Program (ILR-UAP). Points are not credited retroactively. Likewise you must be a member of the ILR Show Division (ILR-SD) for points to count towards your ILR-SD awards.

• Plus you put yourself in a position to receive certificates and trophies for your showing efforts

Q5:  Are Youth memberships available?

A: Yes, a $10 Youth Membership (18 and under) includes both an ILR and ILR-SD membership which allows youth to receive discounts and participate in both the ILR-SD and ILR-UAP awards programs. Youth also receive points themselves in both programs -- not just the animals as with adults.
