will be held

June 13, 14, & 15, 2014
Iowa State Fairgrounds, Des Moines, IA

All ILR-SD members are invited to participate. 

For those that attended the event in the past, we are sure you will remember the quality of the facility and the spacious show ring. For those that have not joined us before, you are in for a very enjoyable event. The Gathering is a fun-packed weekend of friendly competition and an opportunity to renew friendships and forge new ones. Plans are still being firmed up, but some of the highlights of the weekend are:

·         We will also have our Treats and Treasures tables . . . the Treats being baked goods, fresh veggies, fruits, etc. for sale, and the Treasures being items that one person no longer has a use for, but others may consider them treasures. Again, donations are welcome and requested for both the Tastes and Treasurers.

·         We will continue to have the Gathering Dollars for the youth and a youth only silent auction.  So, bring items for the youth auction – this is always a hit with the kids.

·         We will have our photo contest again – Herd sires, Crias and Llama Fun categories. All photos will become the property of the ILR and will not be returned to you.

·         New this year:  ILR Awards Dinner; ILR Scholarship Sweepstakes; ILR All American Llama; ILR Pot of Gold classes; and a special Composite Award; premiums will be paid to Grand and Reserve Champions!
