GUIDELINE CHANGES FOR 2014 The following changes have been made and will be effective for 2014 – please refer to the 2014 Guidelines (pages 102 and 103) available on the website for further details

 Judges Committee

·        Judge in “good standing” has been defined

·        Judges membership fees and dues must be paid by January 1

·        The 10% fleece criteria has been removed for halter classes; judges should use their discretion in assigning a small portion of the overall evaluation to fleece

·        Changes were made to the showmanship criteria clarifying that showmanship is judging the handler’s presentation of the animal as if it were in a halter class and may require additional maneuvering such as changing places in line.  Animal will be judges on grooming and training but not conformation

·        Clarifies that evaluations should be sent by email and if snail mailed should be sent to the secretary of the judges committee

Fleece committee

·        No changes, but 2013 changes removed forms 04 and 06

Youth committee

·        Youth can now show at 19; they leave the youth division on their 20^th birthday

Halter committee

·        New photos have been added; requirement for 10% to be placed on fleece has been modified

Performance committee

·        Requirements for Novice performance have been better defined
